The main component of disproportionated rosin (DPR) is dehydroabietic acid. The product has a low content of abietic acid, which has stable performance. DPR can be made into disproportionated rosin acid soap, which can be used as an emulsifier for high polymer polymerization of styrene-butadiene rubber, neoprene rubber, nitrile rubber and ABS. DPR can also be used as a plasticizer for rubber and tackifier for adhesive, chewing gum, advanced papermaking compounds, and important components of printing inks, as well as electronic fluxes.
